You Won't Believe What Putting These Oils on Your Face Every Night Can Do For Your Skin! Must Try!

Beautiful, oil-free skin requires a lot of time and effort. Not to mention – money. But, the skin care products our cosmetic stores are loaded with chemicals and often fail to give satisfying results. So, you go on switching from one product to another until you hopefully find the one that gives the best results. Needless to say, this may cost you a fortune.

On the plus side, there are less familiar, yet equally effective ways to get the skin of your dreams only by using some common house items, such as olive, coconut, castor or sesame oil.

You are allowed to take this with disbelief, but many dermatologists agree that oil cleansing is actually one of the best treatments you can obtain for your skin. In fact, oil cleansing has proved more effective than expensive skin-cleansing lotions and tonics.

What not many women know is that the more oil you apply on your face, the better results you get in terms of cleaning your skin of excess sebum and debris. It particularly does wonders for oily skin. Yes, that’s right, oil cleansing is useful for all skin types, especially for oily skin.

What’s best is that these oils are easily available and low-cost. You can use any oil of your preference, be it castor, coconut, sesame or olive oil. Interestingly, the oil you apply on your face binds with the existing oil or skin sebum thus cleansing all the impurities on your face.

Moreover, oil cleansing restores your skin pH balance, which can often be compromised by the excessive use of chemical-laden products. What oil cleansing does to dry or irritated skin is stimulate the secretion of more skin sebum. In oily skin, oil cleansing unclogs and detoxifies pores clogged by the excessive use of cosmetic products, letting the skin breath again.

Regular use of store-bought cosmetic products, which are laden with chemicals and preservatives, leads to skin imbalance, which is often the cause of combination skin.

Regardless of your skin type, oil cleansing is the right method to keep your skin immaculately clean.

How to Clean Your Skin Using Oil?

For optimal skin benefits, you should combine two types of oil – an oil that’s a natural antibacterial or astringent, such as castor, grapeseed or hazelnut oil, and a more gentle, moisturizing one such as jojoba, avocado, sunflower seed or argan oil. It’s important to bear in mind that the astringent oils can dry out your skin, so you need to use 10-30% astringent oil and 70-90% moisturizing oil. In other words, if your skin is quite oily, increase the amount of astringent oil. On the other hand, if your skin is dry, reduce the astringent oil while increasing the moisturizing oil.

Mixing oils in this particular ratio will not only prevent any undesired effects, but it’ll also help you to reap the benefits of each.

Directions:
Mix the oils before the treatment. Get a clean washcloth.
Put the oils into your palm and then lightly massage into your face for a couple of minutes (you don’t need to wash your face before the treatment; in fact, you can even leave your makeup on).
Wet the washcloth in warm-to-hot water, wring it out then lay it over your face. Keep like that for 30 seconds or until the cloth cools. This will help open the pores on your face.
Pressing the washcloth gently, remove the oil off your face. Rinse the washcloth then repeat until you’ve removed all the oil.
Optionally, you can finish with a witch hazel toner. You can also leave the residual oil to be absorbed as a moisturizer.
